Carli Unifeed can meet the needs of medium production animals when fed ad libitum. It is therefore suitable for use as a complete feed, which is particularly useful when operating under permanent housing conditions.
Voluntary daily consumption will vary in this case depending on the species and breed reared:
- Small sheep (Sarda) fed solely on this product may voluntarily consume a ration of 1.7-2.2 kg;
- Large sheep (Asaf, Lacaune) may consume as much as 2,6-3.3 kg;
- Highly productive large goats (Saanen) can consume 3-3.5 kg.
Depending on the species and characteristics of the animals reared, it is possible, if necessary, to provide a food supplement during milking.
